Work Starts for New QFC and Retail Center at Redmond Ridge
50,000-square-foot grocery store scheduled to open next summer

8/12/2004

Site work has started at the Redmond Ridge planned community for a new 12-acre retail center that will include approximately 125,000 square feet of retail and professional services, including a 50,000-square-foot QFC grocery store. Redmond Plaza, L.L.C. is the developer of the balance of the retail and restaurant pads.

The Quality Food Centers, Inc. store is scheduled to open in summer 2005 and QFC has an option to expand its store by building an additional 8,000 square feet in the future.

The retail center will be developed as a part of the “Village at Redmond Ridge,” a 77-acre mixed-use community within Redmond Ridge. In addition to QFC and other retail services, the Village at Redmond Ridge will feature professional offices, multi-family housing for active adults, a park and preserved open space for trails, wetlands and forested areas.

The retail center will be located at the intersection of Novelty Hill Road and Trilogy Parkway, bordering the Redmond Ridge planned community on the west and Trilogy at Redmond Ridge, an active adult community, on the north.
